Fifty-two on Fridays : [30] Bright Colors

″A traveler without observation is a bird without wings.” ~ Moslih Eddin Saadi

Can you believe that we are 30 weeks into this project? I’m shocked that I’ve kept up this long. This past week, I was extremely busy shooting the Stagecoach Collection for Eden’s Bouquet. This line is “a town & country collection inspired by open fields, train stations, dirt roads and ghost towns.” When I saw this outfit, I knew it just had to be my photo for this week’s theme of “bright colors”.

Unfortunately, not everyone in our original group could continue on with this project.  However, drum roll, I am so excited to introduce you to our newest member, one of my all-time favorite photographers in the world… the one and only BRENDA ACUNCIUS. She is the co-founder of BLOOM WORKSHOPS and FORUM and runs her studio out of Texas. When I first started out, I would stare at her flickr images ALL DAY.  Do you all remember the one of her niece in the brown Matilda Jane dress holding the pink pig with the thunder grey backdrop?  You know y’all know what I’m talking about, lol.  She is the master of getting the studio look to be OH SO NATURAL (this is really hard, people), and I have unsuccessfully tried to imitate her many times. So without further ado, here is Dallas/Ft. Worth Child Photographer Brenda Acuncius.

I am now off to cook chili because the church youth group is coming over tomorrow evening.  Have a great weekend, everyone!!
